Anyone use CCL's CyclePRO?

I have it, but we’re TTC right now and so I’m back to Creighton charting with an instructor. I think it would be very useful if you were avoiding pregnancy. It spells right out if you are fertile or not. The only issue is if you are in a transition period – breastfeeding or something. Then, I don’t think it would be very useful.
 
I have it (my DH and I are a CCL teaching couple) but I prefer and use ovusoft’s TCOYF software. In my opinion it is much better and easier to use. (You just have to disregard the references to using protection that are in it and everything else is in line with the sympto thermal method of NFP.) I have used it very successfully to TTA for over a year. After deciding to have another baby, I used it to TTC. Right now I am pregnant so I am not using it at all. You can go to ovusoft.com and download a free 15 day trial if you are interested.

I used Ovusoft when I had a PC. I really liked it. Now that I have a Mac, that is not available, where Cycle Pro is. If you have a PC, I’d go with Ovusoft.

I’ve been using it for two cycles and really like it. The software tells you when you move into a new phase so there is no guesswork. I got it because my DH kept stealing (and losing) my paper charts to write down notes or phone numbers. :rolleyes:
 
I have it, and used it for a few months, but I don’t like it at all. I’d say it’s a waste of money, but I’m glad I spent the money to support CCLI. Fertility Friend has more options and it’s the same exact thing, well, almost. Also, TCOYF (Ovusoft’s) is an awesome program, the bad thing is that I have Windows Vista and it doesn’t work with that system. If you have Windows XP, then that’s the one I suggest you get. But FF is free, you can buy yearly subscriptions to get “VIP” access. TCOYF has a one time fee and the software is yours forever.

Don’t forget that you can “dual boot” on Macs. Google around, or grab a Mac geek to help you with it. When I got a Mac for the first time last summer my geeky boyfriend (now fiance!:)) set up dual-booting on my computer so I can run Windows on it, too. The way it works is that when you boot up your computer, you hold down the option key (opt for Mac, opt for Windows…) and it will let you choose between the two “drives”, Mac or Windows. And it can run it quite well! I ordered Vista, but it will work with pretty much any Windows OS. And yes, it’s just like Windows, except on a MUCH better built computer!
My 2c, but thought I’d educate people about it 🙂
