Anyone used Crown financial?-need $$ advice

DH and I are about 50g in debt. We are working hard to get out and are able to meet our payments with some additional payment to each bill. I just want out NOW! We figure it will take about 4 or 5 more years. I listen to Crown on Family Life Radio each day and I know they have a Catholic program. Anyone have reviews of it, or any other program? We need to get this debt paid off. thanks-twk

Have heard of them, but never really looked into it very deeply. If you want another source of information, I like Dave Ramsey. He has a daily radio show that is archived on his website (so you can listen at your leisure). He’s written several books. His latest is the Total Money Makeover. Library should carry it. His program is easy to understand and very practical. Unless you have a large income, 50K is going to take a while. Best of luck.

Are you saying Crown has a Catholic program? I’ve never seen that.I don’t see that on their website.

You aren’t going to get out “NOW”. It took time to get into debt, and it’s going to take time, discipline, and effort to get out.

I do not know anything about Crown. For reputable credit counseling, I suggest you find an organization affiliated with the NFCC or AICCCA, as those organizations require agencies be accredited. Some Catholic Charities have credit counseling, our diocese does.

I also like Dave Ramsey he believes in applying Christian principals to finances. You may also want to check out Phil Lenahan’s site. He is a Catholic that has put out a book similar to Dave Ramsey. Check out his web site at veritasfinancialministries.com/ Just remember there is no quick and easy way out you just have to work at it.
