We were wondering why our bunny family that usually lives under our shed has been hanging out next to our driveway. Now we know. We have kittens under our shed. We think there are four of them and they are about a month old. We haven’t seen the mother yet and we don’t know if she is a neighbor’s cat or a feral cat. What should we do? Should I can animal control? I don’t know how I would go about getting them out from under the shed and I don’t want to be bitten or scratched by a possibly feral cat. On the other hand, if they are good cats, I don’t want them to get euthanized. I have heard of female cats going off into a secluded place to have kittens, so they could actually belong to someone. Should I hang up signs in the neighborhood? “Has your cat had a crisis pregnancy? Well, come and pick up your kittens!” Should I just leave them alone and hope they go away? They look like they are in robust kitten health. I see them tossling and playing together in the yard, but if I open the back door, they dart under the shed again.
