Anyone watch the TV series 'Blue Bloods'?

The wife would agree. I would like to see some of the sights depicted in the show, like the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and the WTC memorial.

To be fair, my wife has already been to New York several times and she says she hates the place. She says it is trashy, smells bad, the people are rude, and everything is more expensive than here in the DC area (Fredericksburg VA actually).

I just think that describes most cities with few exceptions. Dallas and London and any city in Germany are clean and relatively safe. And New York has improved a lot I hear.

I’ve been there a couple times, and as far as I am concerned, NYKC is a good place to be from – far away from. I get all the New York I need on TV dramas, and some of those aren’t even shot there. But then I don’t like cities in general. If I start on my bicycle in the middle of a city, and after 15 minutes of riding I’m still in “city,” then the city is too big 😛
