Remember “Theology of the Body” refers to a series of talks given by St John Paul II.

There are studies of these talks that various people have written, those are commentary. I’d advise you to read the actual talks, and remember those talks are important but not infallible.

Teachings of the Church on sex are actually very simple. Sex is for those in a valid marriage, and for the two validly married spouses it is done in a way that is ordered toward procreation.

If you get those two things in your heart, you’ve got it!
