Looks like the leftists have already begun the politicization of Bader Ginsburg’s passing.

Just remember this.

Remember the next time the leftists get a pro-abort court win and they are telling you that this is none other than the courts.

And the courts are objective. (Realize they do not believe that even as they are telling you that. They are trying to manipulate you when they do that.)

They know the courts are at least to some extent, POLITICAL.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) offered some words of advice to concerned progressives Friday following the news of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death, stressing that a vote for Joe Biden is “not about whether you agree with him,” but about allowing democracy to “live another day”–because “November’s about survival.”

The freshman lawmaker took to Instagram after the news of Ginsburg’s passing and begged viewers to check their voter registration, all while she pitched why the upcoming election is so important. . . .

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) urged Senate Democrats to stand strong and “not back down” in the wake of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) subsequent vow that President Trump’s nominee to replace her “will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate.”

Waters . . . ultimately delivering a message directly to Senate Democrats: “Do not back down!” . . .

Left-wing Hollywood filmmaker Rob Reiner is declaring war on Republicans over who will replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. He has also accused Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of disrespecting Ginsburg . . .

. . . Among Maher’s guests on Friday was actress and left-wing activist Jane Fonda, who announced she was “reeling” from the news before urging viewers to “rise up” and oppose Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) effort to name Ginsburg’s replacement. . . .

ChuckB . . .
Looks like the leftist are not alone . . .
From ChuckB’s article (quoting Collins) . . .
“RIP to the more than 30 million innocent babies that have been murdered during the decades that Ruth Bader Ginsburg defended pro-abortion laws,” Collins tweeted Friday night. “With @realDonaldTrump nominating a replacement that values human life, generations of unborn children have a chance to live.”
I am fine with you thinking this is a political issue.

I think legalized premeditated murder of innocent babies is political too. But I think it is ALSO above mere politics as well.

Bader-Ginsburg was clearly an activist for such killing, shrouded in legalese.

I think of it as a worldview of re-defining people as less than people.

But yeah. If you want to think of this as a mere political issue, that’s your call.

So their worst case nightmare is that SCOTUS may shift to interpreting laws as they are explicitly written by Congress???

😳

To be fair, I think the right have done the same. You will have noted some glee in their response about the opportunity at hand?

It turns out that relying on 9 wringwraiths to force your leftist ideology upon a free people has the potential to backfire.

Aren’t you a strong advocate of doing the same but with “conservative ideology”?

Yes, it’s about survival of babies in the womb, not about survival of annoying politicians who will always be able to get another job through their cronies. Tiresome woman.

Yes indeed, they might be forced to legislate change.
It will be interesting, this next year.

There are multiple ways to interpret the Constitution. There is no objective Truth as to the “right” way. There are just opinions.

As does looking for a “pro-life Justice” instead of a great legal mind.

Pro life judges and great legal mind aren’t mutually exclusive. Don’t you know?🤨

No, I am in favor of judges who rule according to the Constitution and the law, in response to the arguments presented, not those who push their ideologies in front of those things.

So, you are against nominating a pro-life Justice who will overturn Roe? That is pushing an ideology.

It should be interpreted in light of the original intent if the framers.
“ “The Constitution is not a living organism. It’s a legal document, and it says what it says and doesn’t say what it doesn’t say.” -Scalia

Jon, you do realize this is an opinion?
