I have never met a feminist who demanded that she allowed to be put in the draft.

I’m a feminist and I absolutely think women should be drafted! That way, you can avoid taking fathers and husbands (or wives and mothers) and keep children from growing up without a parent. You’ll have twice as many singles to draw from.

That said we should do everything possible to prevent war, and then everything possible to prevent a draft.

The last time it was active in the US was 40+ years ago–before I was even born. The draft is not exactly a live subject.

I think the draft should be disbanded, so we are in good company there.

If true equality was demanded, acceptance the draft and the removal of affirmative actions policies that support women, and removing maternity leave, would be screamed from the rooftops also.

Feminism is about power, not equality. However, wanting power is not necessarily a bad thing, depending on how it’s planned on being used.
