The Church is a body of people that have been neglected for hundreds of years and allowed to fall out of favour with God by the ministry of those who benefit from teaching that “everything is fine, nothing bad will happen” despite the evidence to the contrary.

Peter never said “ignore the World’s problems because singing Hymns are far more valuable to God” - the innate mode of thinking in a church is a group mentality (literally like sheep) who follow each other rather than the Word of God.

Thank you - admission of a problem is the first step to recovery. Now I will draw your attention to my earlier message.

If you read the website you would have noticed the key point which is that Christians have been following the outward form of the Christian religion for the past 1400 years (2 Timothy 3:1-9). In fact the Catholic (and every other Church) do not follow the true Christian faith by definition. Therefore you don’t have an organisation to let you do what God requires of you which is why there is a profusion of false religions, false ideologies and 2.5 billion people living on less than $2 a day. There is a rush to tell you about the apocalypse because it is nearly the end of time.

your rant and claims have no backing, the Church has led the way in helping millions of folks with charitable works. Thousands of missionaries go out each year to spread the gospel and assist in improvished countries. Millions if not billions are sent to poor countries each year.

Yes there are still poor folks in the world, and yes much more can be done. But contrary to your claims, God has not abandoned His Church, and contrary to your opinion, God listens to those who pray. Monks who go off to live in some secluded place are not useless as you say, you need to read up on the lives of the saints.

You can be a great saint by just doing the little things with great love as St. Terersa did. It’s good if you can help the poor directly, but not everyone is called to go out among the poor. Folks can donate their time and resources in other ways. It sounds like you have huge axe to grind.

Someone asked Mother Theresa how they could help, if they should abandon their current life and go out among the poor as one of the sisters of Charity. Mother Theresa told her, to simply live her life as best she could in her current position. Be the best mother and wife that she could be. Not everyone is called to live among the poor.

I would like to give a brief history of the Church:

The Apostles got together and shared everything and preached the Gospel, and taught others to form groups (Churches) and to do the same.

The Church was later institutionalised into a hierachial system (minister, bishop, archbishop, pope)

A monastical lifestyle was set up (people locked themselves as far away from the poor as they could get)

The Church made a 10% temple tax on its followers (who, on average, were poorer than modern day Africans) and set up many pointless rules, regulations etc. It became very rich and could afford to build palaces (cathedrals). Effectively the church oppressed the poor.

The church stagnated; Islam came into being shortly after St. Paul’s Cathedral was first built exactly 616 years after the birth of Christ (being the mark of the beast).

Later, people misinterpreted the Word, and carried out the Crusades. This was followed by the black death.

The Church continued to grow in wealth and sin, and the British monarchs grew jealous of their power. Henry 8th was annoyed with the Catholic church because he could not divorce his wife. So he set up his own church and persecuted catholic priests. Henry 8th also took the wealth of the monasteries (proving that God disapproved, otherwise he would have protected them rather than let them be destroyed).

The fire of London in 1666 was punishment for the actions of the British monarchs, and was preceded by a mini bubonic plague localised to London in 1665. 1666 bears the mark of the beast. St Pauls cathedral burned down in the fire.

The church continued to be weakened after this, being split into many denominations and still continued to oppress the poor and pursue a very outward form of the faith. Satan was clearly free to attack and brought people together for the two World Wars, during which St Pauls was damaged. Incidentally if you take 1914 (the start of the first world war) and turn the numbers 19, 9 and 14 to letters you get “SIN”.

The modern day church is barely a remnant of what Jesus actually taught. It is idolatry - people worship saints, hymns, alters, ministers, mostly everything except Jesus himself who is dying, thousands per day in Africa and other poverty stricken countries.
 
The modern Church worships saints? and altars, and when did we start calling them ministers, and what else, hymns, how on earth can you worship a hymn? Give glory to the hymn only due to God I guess, but I always thought we were singing the hymns to God.

As for the monastaries locking themselves as far away from the poor as they could get, have you ever heard of the mendicants?

St. Francis brothers practiced poverty, and every order I can think of makes a vow to hold nothing privately. It sounds alot like those apostles you were talking about.

Also, the monastaries were set up as self sustaining communities, true in the late middle ages, some of them became very rich, but certainly not all of them did.
And what do you suppose they did with their surplus?

In addition, the Monastic communities accepted almost anyone, including young people left to the monastary. It seems that this would be a good way for the poor to make sure their kids were well fed, and looked after. The monastic communities also provided schools.
It seems they were doing a lot more than fleeing from the poor and praying.

As for the proof that God disliked them by destroying them, well, God must have disliked a lot of things then, the temple of Jerusalem (twice), The original St. Peter’s Basilica, Churches from the start of Christianity to now. Anyway, saying it was destroyed is not proof of God’s judgement, just as being sick is not proof you are a great sinner.

As far as playing with numbers if 616 is the number of the beast, how is 1666 also the number of the beast. You can find all sorts of odd things with the numbers of the years, and with letters, but that does not neccessarily mean they are true.

I think you have a skewed vision of what the Church is, and until you realize what it really is, you will be banging your head on a brick wall.

When Jesus went to the Jews and claimed to be the Messiah they rejected him, even though the scriptures they read every Sabbath told them about him.

In a similar way I am finding it very difficult to explain to Christians that it is the end of time, despite their reading and chanting it every Sunday!

You are expecting the second coming aren’t you? First there is the apocalypse, then armageddon, then the second coming. I am forced to suggest that you don’t appear to be taking you faith very seriously. Do you think that is a valid comment?
 
Zechariah 11:15

“And the Lord said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd. For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces. Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.”

This refers to the modern day priesthood, which profits from waffling fairy tales to people (in fact the tales they tell are those of the horses of revelation; who hurt with their mouths and their tails which are like snakes with heads - Revelation 9:19). You are like a sheep with no shepherd. When you are judged, “baaaa” will be no excuse.
