I was hoping I could get some answers in regard to a few websites I found. I came across them by accident. It makes some pretty outragous claims. For example, that our world leaders are engaging in the occult behavior, the world is being run by an elect few that is trying to bring about a global government, and other stuff about 09/11. Has anyone heard of this? What is the Churches’ position on this or is it just nonsense?

Is there any truth to this global governnment theory?

Look at the source… Alex Jones. Nuff said.

I feel it’s just nonsense. These kinds of people have been saying the same things about every single world leader since there’s been world leaders. I’ve heard the claims that President Abraham Lincoln had actually started the Civil War because of extraterrestrial involvement. So on and so forth.

It’s just utterly ridiculous. There is no real hard evidence to support their claims.

The Church has no position on this matter. Until various world leaders are brought before the Inquisition…er…the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (wait…do they even do that??) we will never know if they’re practicing occult, hiding 9/11 secrets, nazis, or have gallons of alien urine in a secret underground bunker, which is being used as a high-protein additive to our water.

Seriously though, the Church does not concern herself with this type of stuff. It’s up to us to construct our own conspiracy theories.

Great jumping gosh almighty, I agree with ribozyme on something!

Super. Now we gotta deal with the four horsemen, the rain of fire, the end of days…

Just noticed this, but…doesn’t this mean the aliens have kidney disease?
I suppose there are 2 possibilities. First, alien urine could just have a different chemical make up than ours, or alternately, yes, they could have kidney disease. 👍

Thanks for the reply.
What’s with this Alien Urine stuff? I never read anything on Alex Jones’s websites about aliens. I did manage to find a website that seems interesting though catholicprophecy.org/

I am not sure what to make of Alex Jones’s info. He endorses an author, Texe Marrs, on his site that claims Pope John Paul II is sending Freemasons signals while being photographed. It is not clear whether Alex Jones is anti-catholic or pre Vatican II but…read on. However, his coverage of Bohemian Grove has me concerned.

I even bought Texe Marrs’s book “Codex Magica”, not knowing JPII was pictured in the text, thinking it would be interesing to see how world leaders are sending each messages through photographs. Some of the photos do look obvious but some are just over the top.
The book, has numerous (about 360pgs worth) pictures of a famous actors, actresses, singers, corporate leaders and politicians “sending” Babylonian and Egyptian Occultic messages? He claims occultic messages are found in all of the corporate and government logos (ie Chrysler-Dodge Ram, Pentagon building).

After seeing JPII in the book(s), I took it back to the bookstore. There could be some truth to the government stuff, but I don’t think the other claims have been carefullly researched.

I purchased one of his other books, “Circle of Intrigue” on the back cover it lists several secret socities: including “Priory of Sion” Isn’t this the group that claims Jesus and Mary Magdalane were married?
Am I correct, that this is that Davinci Code stuff?

I don’t know what to think about Mr. Jones but I do kow is that I dont agree that JPII was sending people Mason signals.

But can anyone explain this site?
mostholyfamilymonastery.com/

What is an ANTI-POPE?

Is there really such a “title” in the church? This has really shaken my faith. I know the Church has an explaination but I keep wondering.

To address your concerns in reverse order, the monastery you linked to is sedevacantist. In that respect, they diverge from the Catholic Church, since we believe that we do have a Pope. I would steer clear of them, there are many other very good ways to get your information.
“anti-pope” is not an official title. Rather, it’s basically what we call someone who claims to be the pope, but is not.

The Church’s authority extends purely to faith and morals. The Church makes no teaching about whether any government leaders are part of any secret organizations, or even whether certain organizations like the Illuminati even exist. So, the Church therefore does not have any teaching on whether Pope John Paul II was in any secret organizations, however we, the faithful, may take it on good faith that he was not a part of any organization which contradicted the faith.
You are correct in identifying the DaVinci Code stuff, but your error was then in not immediately dismissing it. It is a work of fiction, and seriously, it’s just better if you just take it right now that it’s all false, and then learn about the various organizations (in indeed the Priory of Sion is even a real org, which I recall hearing points to the negative), especially Opus Dei, they sound like a very solid Catholic organisation.

The bit about alien urine was just me having a bit of fun. It gets a little stressful around here sometimes 😉 . Alien urine is just something that a select few crackpots buy into, and very often they’re also the ones with the conspiracy theories you mentioned. Clearly though, those theories can be separated.
Anyways, good night and God bless.
