Hi guys,

I have read Patrick Madrid’s book “Search & Rescue” and I have began the reading plan he recommends.

The question I have is, is there any good apologetic books to add to the phase one reading plan since the relase of Search & Rescue? I think it was released in 2001, so I’m sure there has been loads of really good apologetic books published since then.

If you know of any what you highly recommend or are a must read, please let me know, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & God bless,

Tony.

I outlined my top picks in this thread: The Catholic Apologist’s Bookshelf

Catholic Answers also made a great list: Apologist’s Bookshelf

I’m trying to think of the big titles since 2001. Hahn’s Reasons To Believe is one. San Juan Catholic Seminars Catholic Apologetics Beginning Apologetics Booklet Series was not quite finished by then, so I’m not sure if Madrid mentions that. Kreeft and Tacelli’s Handook for Christian Apologetics was out then, but their more recent ApologeticsHandbook for Catholic was not.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the links, they look really good, i will definitely look into them!

Can anyone else recommend any must read apologetic material

God bless.
