Just because one has been posting on Caf for years doesn’t mean she can’t be obnoxious. And just because one is a lurker for the most part, that his opinions are any less valid than the others. I noticed especially on the Family Life forum, lots of women are judgmental of their fellow women when it comes to raising children, staying at home or working, dating, etc.

I’ve seen firsthand the tactics she describes in dealing with her middle daughter’s grades during my teaching career. The kids just shut down. I felt helpless. But that behavior by parents is much more common than you’d think. I’m not saying that because it’s common means it’s right or okay, but it’s another reason I don’t think she’s a troll.
