In my opinion Apostacy is relativism or there is no moral truths, or absolute truth. If you want to find the fact of this, see how this world wants God out of the public life.

People who advocate abortions, homosexual marriages, etc…are prime examples of this.

God’s law as a result has less importance. How often do you hear people. “Let’s not talk about God. Not everyone believe in God. If you mention God, non-believers will become offended.”

Oh excuse me Non-believers. When Jesus was here. There were many Jews who were offended by his preaching. Why else do you think he was crucified. They conspire to kill Jesus.

No matter how this world will end up, I will stand up to the truth. If people are offended by my preaching of God and his Church, so be it. I rather die for my faith than fall into into the temptations of this world.

Uhh…I am not sure if this is on-topic.

But

Does anyone out there find it interesting that the secular world wants to get ride of the 10 Commandments, the use of the word “Christmas”, and so on and so on…but they have no problem with keeping the calendar which was made because of religion?

And

They especially have no problem keeping the seven day week and their weekends, which if it were not for religion they would not have.

I say…if they are going to rid the world of religious influence…then they better start at “year 1” and figure it out for themselves.

Let’s take a good, close look, at some of the followers of Jesus, as the centuries rolled forward.

Whispers are often heard, when tyranny abounds - whether it was the Pilgrims fleeing England,
John Hus - trying to keep his light under a bushel? - or Anne Hutchinson, who miscarried, after being hectored by her fellow Christians, when she was put on trial - for months - including imprisonment, by a perfectly odius bunch of believers, before being exiled from the colony.
Mother of 14 children, Anne would have been better off, had she conveyed her views in a whisper**. :coffeeread: **

[At one point, in Christian history, you never could tell when the forces of light and goodness
would light a pile of sticks, at your bound feet…the more to give off the light of truth?]
An ‘illuminating’ period, in the course of Christian history? Stake burning was not limited to
Holy Mother Church - and her warm embrace of some of her children - which some of
her children found too hot to handle.

At given points, in Christian history, some could read the words of the Creed, by the light given off by the fires.

Who knows?
Maybe these fervid followers, of the Prince of Peace - got the
flames of the stake confused with tongues of fire. http://bestsmileys.com/nono/9.gif

Some of us hope that we will be spared Christian ‘charity.’
