I’ve seen somebody claim somewhere that each line of it can be lined up with parallel verses scattered throughout the Acts of the Apostles, with the exception of the one about Mary being a virgin, and that one can be lined up with a verse from Luke 1. It would be interesting to try and see if that’s true.
No. Not verbatim anyway but the doctrine is founded in the Scripture.
This is a good question because in Catholicism Sacred Scripture is one of the three legged deposit of faith, the other two being the Sacred Tradition and the Magisterium. Thus Scripture should be read and understood together with them.
Here lies the difference in how other Christians, notably the Sola Scriptural, interpret Scripture which is based on it alone.
