We had the following as a part of the litany of the saints:
These correspond obviously to the apostles. However, there were two different James’ among the apostles. Why are they not recited separately? Is it an oversight or is this common? I cannot think they are not both saints, and other saints of the same name were mentioned separately, for example Maria, Mater Dei, and Maria Magdalena, or Teresia and Teresia Benedicta.Sancte Petre
