I want to thank all of you who have welcomed me.
I will post my prayer intention Monday. but first I would like to post some background.
I have a strong devotion to Mary Mother of God and St Benedict of Nursia.
There is not a Monastery near where I live so I am not an Oblate.
My wife and son are not living with me or each other because of DHS.
My son is in Foster Care and my wife is in a Group Home for the Mentally Ill.
I’ll post more later about this. So it is just me and my beloved iMac at home.
I get to see my son today at Vigil Mass.
I found out through prayer that my Apostolate is to Pray and unite my sufferings
to those here on the Forum. I don’t always reply but I read every New Thread.
I offer Rosaries for you all as well as The Liturgy of the Hours.
Thank you all and I keep all you Prayer Warriors in my heart.
God Bless You All

Dan thank you for sharing something of your story and your difficulties with us.
I thank you, and praise God for your welcome of your apostolate of prayer for all here in CAF and of all in need.
Thank you for offering the rosary and prayer of the Church for all.

May God bless you in your generosity of spirit, in the deep daily sadness of your personal losses.
I ask God’s Holy Spirit to act powerfully in your family,
and to continue to flow through you.

Following Christ
Heavenly Father, please nurture me as a true disciple of Jesus so that I seek only to serve and to share my life for others, as daily I live my responsibilities and creative inspirations, following Jesus in trust, humility, purity of heart, and freedom of spirit.

Please centre me in Your love so that I desire Your will in everything, thus my thoughts and attitudes, words and acts, transformed by You, shall give You glory, serving charity, justice and peace for those I pray for or encounter.

By this means, my spiritual and material endowments shall be shared fraternally, again and again with others. Then You may look on me and find no fault in me, but rejoice in Your dearly loved child, formed in image of Jesus. With trust, I make this prayer in His name

Commitment
God, for sake of souls, I commit myself and my entire life—past, present and future—to Your merciful love. I trust in Your love to accept this submission and make it complete.

Have mercy upon everyone whom You wish to bless through me, and do not let my limitations or doubts curtail Your use of me as vehicle of blessing or vessel of honor.

My faults are fragile barriers to the flood of Your grace, if I live Your will and have faith in Your powerful love. Deepen my trust in Your will to use Your limitless power of love even in me.

Dan,
Thank you for your prayers. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Peace,
Andrea

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon:
where there is doubt, faith ;
where there is despair, hope
where there is darkness, light
where there is sadness, joy
O divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.

Dan I thankyou for your sincere prayers for many here at CAF.I am so sorry for the distresses in your life.May God bless you for your good heart and I pray for the health of your wife and for your relationship with your son to be close and united again one day.You are brave and show great courage and strength and I know you have your own health concerns.You are a blessing to us all and it is a privelege to call you my friend.I pray God will bring you comfort and strength.
God bless you

Father,
your Son accepted our sufferings to teach us the virtue of patience in human illness. Hear the prayers we offer for our sick brothers and sisters,especially for Dan. May all who suffer pain, illness or disease realize that they are chosen to be saints, and know that they are joined to Christ in His sufferings for the salvation of the world, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forevever and ever.
~Amen~

A Novena Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we know that there is but one thing impossible to You: to be without pity for those who are in suffering or distress. Look down on us, we beg of You and grant us the grace which we humbly and earnestly implore, through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother to whom You confided us as her children, and whose prayers are all powerful with You. Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Holy Spirit, come into my heart; draw it to Thee by Thy power, O my God, and grant me charity with filial fear. Preserve me, O ineffable Love, from every evil thought; warm me, inflame me with Thy dear love, and every pain will seem light to me. My Father, my sweet Lord, help me in all my actions. Jesus, love, Jesus, love. Amen.

Praying that through this ministry that the trials you are going through will be easier carry …

Behold me, my beloved Jesus,
weighed down under the burden of my trials and sufferings,
I cast myself at Your feet,
that You may renew my strength and my courage,
while I rest here in Your Presence.
Permit me to lay down my cross in Your Sacred Heart,
for only Your infinite goodness can sustain me;
only Your love can help me bear my cross;
only Your powerful hand can lighten its weight.
O Divine King, Jesus,
whose heart is so compassionate to the afflicted,
I wish to live in You;
suffer and die in You.
During my life be to me my model and my support;
At the hour of my death,
be my hope and my refuge.

Amen.
