The Apostolic Penitentiary has granted special ways to get a Plenary Indulgence to
  • those suffering from COVID-19 who do certain prayerful offering-up type activities;
  • those who care for them, including family caregivers and health care workers; and
  • those who offer certain prayers and activities for the end of the pandemic, including the usual “BIg Four” activities one does to get a plenary normally (visiting the Blessed Sacrament/ Eucharistic Adoration, or saying the Rosary, or making Stations of the Cross, or reading Scripture).
These Plenary Indulgences are granted even if you can’t fulfill the “usual conditions” by receiving Holy Communion or going to Confession right now, as long as you have the intention to fulfill the conditions as soon as you can do so again.

All the details are in the Vatican press release right here.

Decree of the Apostolic Penitentiary on the granting of special Indulgences to the faithful in the current pandemic, 20.03.2020

I hope everyone will take advantage of this to get some plenary indulgences and give them to deceased souls. You could even give them to the souls of people who died in the pandemic.
Remember, you can get one plenary per day.

Thanks for sharing (and beating me to the punch). In going to try to gain as much as I can for them.
