Hey everyone,

I’m writing once again in regards to apostolic succession. Besides the writings of the early Church Fathers, where else could I look to see apostolic succession, using resources other than the Bible? (history books, etc.)

**Do you think today’s liberal historians would even care to discuss Apostolic Succession? Don’t think so. With the Bible and writings of the Early Church Fathers you become a historian yourself. Where do you think historians get their information from? Straight from eyewittness accounts in writing from the time period and from archaeological digs. Archaeologically, It’s pretty difficult to learn about apostolic succession, unless they find a Bishop from the first century frozen alive in tact while placing his hand on his frozen successor. That would be a very rare find. 😉 **

I think the following links can help:

**Apostolicity: **newadvent.org/cathen/01648b.htm

**Apostolic Succesion: **newadvent.org/cathen/01641a.htm

The above strikes me as strange.

I would think absolutly. Any historian no matter is political/moral philosophy would be enchanted to breakthrough and provide further information on Apostolic Succession through pure academia and objective historical measurements. Why not?

Thank you for the links. They are informative.
