I tried! But, I just had to reject the the fifth ecumenical council!

That’s the approach I try to take. Or I make a joke (not at their expense 😝).

Did. Someone actually call you a Heretic ? Ha, well so much for Catholic Brotherhood 🙂 Reading some of these posts ( new to CAF ) there is far less civility than I expected to find. The satisfaction of delivering verbal zingers appears to give some people entertainment. 🙂 It can be difficult to phrase a simple thought without somebody taking it the wrong way.
 
And you know what the bad thing is? CAF is pretty good compared to other forums.

Amen to that! CAF is so much more civil than the Amazon forums were. It made me physically ill to go there. I look forward to coming to CAF each day. Even in disagreement, the people here are much kinder and more compassionate.
 
A few here are so sour as to be reminiscent of Monty Python’s skit of the Spanish Inquisition 🙂 But the vast majority of Catholics, and even Non Catholics here, are kind and very informative.
