I am not speaking about any apparition in the past!

Is it possible if somebody had for example three actual visions of Mary with messages for that person then to add another three himself with fake messages or would God not allow that or maybe God wouldn’t choose that person?

Similarly, is it possible for Satan to appear for the extra three apparitions pretending to be Mary or would God grant the visionary power to know the difference?

Yes visionaries can slip and become con people.
Anyone can fall.

Yes satan can imitate God.

He appeared as an angel to st faustina and told her to burn her diary. Which st faustina did.

Jesus told st faustina the answer;
not exact words;
Obey your superiors and spiritual director before any apparition and you will not be led astray

So, a priest, and the church need to approve ANY private revelation as from God.

St Therese of Avila was the same. She wrote that she did not believe ANY vision unless a few Priests (Jesuits she chose), and theologians approved it was from God.

How do you defeat satan then? Obedience to the church’s ruling
