Christ has appeared to some saints and truly the Blessed Mother, but are there any incidents of the apostles appearing to anyone?
 
Apparently John appeared once to someone, WITH Mary AND Joseph.

Any one of those three appearing would be awe inspiring, but ALL THREE?

The Story of Knock began on the 21st August 1879 when Our Lady, St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist appeared at the south gable of Knock Parish Church. The apparition was witnessed by fifteen people, young and old. From this miraculous occurrence Knock has grown to the status of an internationally recognised Marian Shrine.

The personal pilgrimage of Pope John Paul II in 1979, commemorating the centenary of the apparition, inspired an even greater devotion to the Shrine and endorsed the indelible seal of Vatican approval. Mother Teresa of Calcutta visited the Shrine in June of 1993. One and a half million pilgrims visit the Shrine annually.

SS. Peter and Paul are supposed to have appeared in threatening fashion to Attila the Hun (5th C.) as he set upon Rome, dissuading him from the venture.

Among other practices of devotion he joined while at Vienna the Congregation of St. Barbara, to which many students of the Jesuit college belonged. If the confidences he then made to his tutor and later to a fellow-member of the Society at Rome are to be believed, it was Saint Barbara who brought two angels to him during the course of a serious illness, in order to give him the Eucharist.

Also, we see Sts. Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael appearing in Scripture (another apparition of St. Michael is where the St. Michael Chaplet comes from). Also, Samual appears to Saul in the OT.
