I know that I have been Catholic for over 55 years and I never experienced it until the past few years and I never take part in it. I think its ridiculous. I am either kneeling and praying after Mass a prayer of thankfulness and / or the Saint Michael the Arch Angel prayer, or both.
Today, some people did it after Father’s homily. Now, the homily was great, but I was thanking God, making the sign of the Cross and actually was irritated and wondered what in tarnation was getting into people.
