The OP should consider looking into Habitat for Humanity. This is precisely what they do, minus the billionaire. It’s too easy to propose solutions where somebody ELSE fixes the world’s problems. Habitat does a great job of not just handing out, but fostering healthy families able to thrive after their hand-up.
