I am looking for appropriate poems or other forms of birthday greetings for a farourite minister, or if I were to send a greeting to thePope.
Thank you for your suggestions.
Ste Jude:)

I give our Priest a Feast Day card etc because he says he doesn’t have a birthday!
God bless you 🙂

If I were that priest’s parents, I think I would be hurt by such a sentiment.
NO, I’m sorry - He was joking with me. We are both in our 60s and he was Ordained in 1999, so his Feast Day is very special and, like me, his parents are both with God.

Priests and religious are like anyone else.
A heartfelt message on a beautiful blank card means more than anything you could do, in addition to having a Mass for them.
These are the things that matter. Masses for the living are the most efficacious.
Why wait until someone has passed?
🙂

It shouldn’t be hurtful. I myself lived in the U.K. and at the time one’s Feast Day was held to be more important than one’s birthday. It wasn’t until we came to the states, I was even invited to go to a birthday party. Didn’t know what to do. 🙂
