Approved Apparitions and Coming Chastisement

As far as the exact date is concerned, no apparition gives such a detail.
We are only in 2009, so the XXth. Century has just finished a short while ago.
Plus, I do not think God is bound to respect our worldly calendar.
I honestly don’t know what to reply to this.
I remember having read that even Saint John Bosco prophecized about this chastisement.
Rome and the Vatican will be wiped out.
St. Malachy’s prophecy says this Ratzinger Pope is the last Pope, but we don’t know what he meant by “last” (last before the chastisement?)

enter this on your browser and you’ll get info about a book on Marie-Julie Jahenny in English:

sacramentals.com/marie-julie.htm

Marie-Julie was also a stigmatist and a very devout lady and I am sure she would not have publisized the messages she received without the Church’s consent.

Another detail is that during those three days and two/three nights there will be no light in the sky and you shall hear thunder so powerful nobody has ever heard that before.
It will be really fringhtening.
The demons will fake the voice of your loved ones to make you open the door so they can come inside your house.

I am at your complete disposal in case you need further assistance

Love and kisses

avemaria, with others I implore you to forego following what amounts to curiousity as you seek to lean of “special messages” from God. As others have clearly stated, when the Church chooses to tell us to pay attention to a certain apparition, ONLY THEN are we to pay attention. You make a claim about alleged apparitions in Rwanda without stating a single word from Church authorities to back up such claims. What are you thinking?

Ave SantaMaria,

Don’t worry: the Kibeho apparitions have been approved by the Church.

Look into this link and you will find a list of RECENT APPARITIONS APPROVED BY THE CHURCH:

catholicdoors.com/isit/approved.htm

To some people, the Virgin has to ask the Church permission to appear, but I’m sure you’re more clever than that
Remember, Fatima happened in 1917 but it was only in 1930 that they were approved

Dearest friend Ave Santa Maria.,

Look into this link:

campus.udayton.edu/mary//resources/aprtable.html

and you will find a list of all apparitions in XXth Century.
The list will tell you which ones have been approved, which ones have been condemned and (the largest number) which ones are still pending for a decision by the Catholic Church.
There are hundreds of them.
Maybe even 400 altogether, I couldn’t count them all exactly,
I repeat, you will know which ones have been approved, which ones condemned and which ones are waiting for a decision (therefore we don’t yet know if they will be approved or condemned).

You may also want to read the Book of Revelations chapter 20 : 1-2, announcing exactly what Our Lady is announcing: the 1000 years reign of peace after the chastisement

Love and hugs.

After you’ve read all this, you make up your own mind.
Critical spirit is what we need, my boy, critical spirit.
We must obey the Church, but we can still have an enquiring mind, don’t you think ?

Your source, catholic doors, has itself declared this disclaimer: “As webmaster of this website, I do not represent the Catholic Church, my diocese, nor my parish. This work of love was started as a personal act of good works to promote the vastness of the spiritual treasures that are found in the Holy Catholic Church." In addition, such sites as EWTN have proclaimed the actions of a number of Rwandan bishops in their support of the apparent legitimacy of the Rwandan apparitions. Yet still, to this day, I’ve found nothing giving Vatican approval to these claims.

Our Blessed Mother Mary is well known under her title Mother of the Church. As such, she desires that we find our guidance and direction within the Church. When the Church approves the veracity of an apparition, the Church is merely ALLOWING us to observe one more form of piety. The Church never requires us to do so.

Dear catharina,

I do not want to argue until we fight.
I know your kind of mentality and I disagree with it, but you have a perfect right to express your opinion in this forum and I think me too.
I want to be humble and avoid confrontation.
If I a,m not mistaken, the Church says that - as far as APPROVED apparitions are concerned - we faithful are free to believe or not.
So there is nothing wrong if we believe.
I have tried to warn AveSantaMaria as to which ones are the approved appasritions and which ones are not, so as not to lead him into mistake.
I let him make up his mind.
The Truth will make you FREE

I was under the impression that unapproved apparitions were out-of-bounds for CAF posters?

Here to the best of my knowledge if the Church’s opinion on Rwanda.
The “Michael” Journal first reported about the Apparitions of Our Lady in Kibeho in Rwanda, Africa, in its January-February, 1988 issue. These Apparitions have just been officially recognized by the Church. The news was reported in the July 11, 2001 issue of the Vatican weekly L’Osservatore Romano. The Apparitions of the Mother of the Word began in November, 1981, and took place until 1989. These Messages of Our Lady in Kibeho concern the whole world.

Praise God for His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI!!! He is so excellent! 👍 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Where I worry is that the Rwanda apparitions occurred in 1981 but were not Vatican approved until 2001. They prophesied a “river of blood” without repentance. In the United States, we have apparitions in Conyers, Georgia, that I will not discuss here out of respect for the rules of this forum. However, Mother Teresa has said, **“The fruit of abortion is nuclear war. What you do to the unborn child, you do to Jesus.” **

It might make sense to discuss the approved apparitions from Fatima, Portugal, Kibeho, Rwanda, and Akita, Japan in order to learn (unlike the poor Rwandans who suffered a genocide before they listened to Our Blessed Mother) how to prevent catastrophe in our world. I am especially worried given the recklessness of the United States government over the past few years (and in my opinion - continuing until the current day). It makes nuclear war seem like a possible grim reality for us. Thank you for the concern about false apparitions, as there are many that may be of demonic origin, and so this subject is one to proceed with extreme care.

It strikes me as making sense to proceed with extreme caution on the unapproved apparitions. I also do not pay attention to St. Malachy’s or some of the fringe Fatamists. Yet, despite the caution on unapproved apparitions, unless we are willing to share the same fate as Rwanda, it makes sense to me not to ignore them but to submit them to the guidance and authority of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. How does the Vatican look at an apparition? If they haven’t said a word, what do they recommend? None of us are required to read St. Francis of Assisi, St. Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort, Mother Teresa, Mother Angelica, or Fr. Corapi. Yet, His Holiness Pope John Paul II was consecrated to Our Blessed Mother through St. Louis Marie Griginon de Montfort’s way in True Devotion to Mary. With Medjugorje, it has not been banned, but the Vatican exorcist has denounced it. That is a striking decision even if it is not official.

Yet, St. Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort said that devotion to the Eucharist and Blessed Virgin are the gold and silver of our faith. Thus, the demons try to distract/misguide/mislead us on these sorts of devotions. It seems that it is even more important to learn true devotion given the profound power of Our Blessed Mother in leading us to a true knowledge of Christ and perfect union with Christ and to scrutinize apparitions that seem likely to lead to Church approval. 😦

Maybe my interest in the apparitions still seems strange or inappropriate after this further explanation? If so, I am deeply appreciative and grateful for criticism, commentary, and advice. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

  1. Good.
  2. That’s just as I already stated.
PS - Your unquoted statement that “I know your kind of mentality” is both untrue and silly. In fact, you don’t know me (or my “mentality”) at all.

In pursuing true devotion to Our Blessed Mother, we are advised to wait for the decision of the Church regarding any and all reported appartions. This is standard instruction, to protect the truth and devotion - to protect us. With all that the Church has approved available to us, I can think of nothing that would lead me into the dark woods as a private investigator of such claims.

You haven’t mentioned it, but maybe you can become familiar with Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Mary appeared to a novice (Daughter of Charity) in France, more than 100 years ago. The medal based on those apparitions is inscribed O Mary, conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse to thee. The Church allowed this devotion well before it proclaimed the Immaculate Conception to be a declared and infallible doctrine of our faith.

I’ve loooked for the primary source you name in your secondary source. That is: "The news was reported in the July 11, 2001 issue of the Vatican weekly L’Osservatore Romano. "

I haven’t found it. Perhaps you can find it.

I have a little something more to say about current apparitions.
Since they talk about an imminent chastisement, I would expect the Church to be quick in telling me whether this chastisement is for real or not. Not wait until perhaps the chastisement really happens and we were left waiting for the Church’s opinion.

The Church faithfully leads us under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Our personal expectations have little bearing on the where/when of many things.

It’s always wise and kind to pray for those who lead us in the Church.

I found the Vatican weekly. L’Osservatore Romano, but not the actual article. I will try to email them within the week to request a copy of the article. 🙂

I think we should be very concerned the way this country is going with its strong abortion and homosexual lobbies forcing us to support, unwillingly, their work with our tax dollars or to not complain publically. Many bishops haven’t taken these people on and soon, they will be backed into a corner and forced to act without as much influence.

We are becoming the last piece in a global demonic puzzle. The light for other nations is growing dim, as we have elected the most radical president and he has elected the most radical cabinet he could (unless he is a puppet). I did not vote for him on paper, but my active sins and idleness did indirectly, by praying and doing penance so infrequently. Many of us are indulgent of material enjoyment and have gotten wishy-washy, so as to feel better. Many have gone on to become heretics. Most other nations have already gone godless (or practically so), socialist and libertine. I think these warnings, esp. if they happen in our back yards, can straighten up people who aren’t concerned about wasting time–even the devout ones. Many of us think we have so much time. We need to go to Mary, ultimately. I’ve ranted here too much in my Pride. It’s time to mostly pray, fast and/or do other penances, though we need to join the Fundies and the Mormons in speaking out, esp. on the homosexual agenda, as that seems to be what’s getting people prosecuted; not abortion protesting (though we can’t stop fighting in that campaign).

The secret societies are probably behind both, though we can’t detract even against them, and the gays just may be their stooges for causing disorder, having scared many pastors, rabbis and priests away or corrupting them, instead of the old way of shutting down churches, with the aim of bringing hell to Earth. If God has to directly get involved, it’s never like a “Yeah, get 'em” time for even believers, as we have our sins and laziness to realize. Realizing this will be a shock. No more ego defenses for the faithful, then, I think (well, blaming might happen and that’s what those in Hell do–blame and hate), when out of our comfort zone–just like at our private judgment, I believe.

I don’t think we can turn back the clock without a miracle. Maybe the 5th Marian dogma being declared can get the ball rolling against the earthly representatives of Satan. Maybe we’ll get the prophesied Great Awakening. Without something supernatural, how can we destroy all bad reading material, videos, photos and music from stores, homes and computers in the world? One being found, if such a campaign were undertaken by 99% of people, is all it takes. How can we get people to abandon their interest in sick pleasures, so as to remove it all from existence? We need to try, of course, whether it has any chance of being accomplished (we may help God save souls in the process and that’s worth it alone, second to serving God, period), but I am not so skeptical of these warnings. A cleansing by fire may be necessary. God help us wake up!

REMINDER:

Please keep in mind that promotion of unapproved private revelation is not allowed at CAF.

Thank you!

Klara

Was the Annunciation or the Transfiguration (regarding Moses and Elijah) a private revelation to Mary before it became an approved book?

I’m just messing with people’s minds, but I do wonder.
