Approved Spanish Language Blessings?

The Book of Blessings has the following short form blessings for rosaries and other religious articles.

Blessing of a Rosary (Short Form)
In special circumstances, a priest or deacon may use the following short blessing form:
May this rosary and the one who uses it be blessed, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, + and of the Holy Spirit. R. Amen.

Blessing of Religious Articles (Short Form)
To be used to bless medals, small crucifixes, statues, or pictures that will be displayed elsewhere than in a church or chapel; scapulars, rosaries, and other articles used for religious devotions.
In special circumstances, a priest or deacon may use the following short blessing form:
May this (name of article) and the one who uses it be blessed, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, + and of the Holy Spirit. R. Amen.

I am seeking the approved wording for these blessings in Spanish, specifically Latin American Spanish, Mexico would be good.

I can simply translate these English-language blessings, but I am trying to be sure of having the language that is approved for use…say in Mexico. Such approved language might not be a simple, slavish translation of the English.

Does anyone have access to a Spanish language “Book of Blessings” and so could advise me of Church approved language for these blessings?

The book you seek is the Spanish vernacular of the Roman Ritual. I don’t know if there even is one, though I would think so. You should not come up with your own unapproved translations from one vernacular unto the other: translations are made strictly from the official Latin.

While I hope you find the official blessings, you can always bring the Latin blessings to a priest.

Until the promulgation of Inter Oecumenici in 1964, the blessing of Rosaries was a reserved blessing, and only priests of the Dominican Order could bless them. Any priest can give this blessing today. And under Summorum Pontificum, of course, the old form may be used by any priest. So here it goes:

Formula brevior benedicendi coronam sacratissimi Rosarii B.M.V.

Ad laudem et gloriam Deiparae Virginis Mariae, in memoriam mysteriorum vitae, mortis et resurrectionis ejusdem Domini nostri Jesu Christi, bene+dicatur et sancti+ficetur haec sacratissimi Rosarii corona: in nomine Patris, et Filii, + et Spiritus Sancti.

R. Amen

Concerning religious articles, there are some which have their own blessing. A generic blessing for all those items who are not individually mentioned in the Rituale is as follows:

Benedictio ad omnia

Haec benedictionis formula adhibei potest a quovis Sacerdote pro omnibus rebus, quarum specialis benedictio in Rituali Romano non habeatur.

V. Adjutorium nostrum in nomine Domini.
R. Qui fecit caelum et terram.

Oremus.

Deus, cujus verbo sanctificantur omnia, bene+dictionem tuam effunde super creaturam istam (creaturas istas): et praesta, ut, quisquis ea (eis) secundum legem et voluntatem tuam cum gratiarum actione usus fuerit, per invocationem sanctissimi nominis tui, corporis sanitatem et animae tutelam, te auctore, percipiat. Per Christum Dominum nostrum.

Et aspergatur (vel aspergantur) aqua benedicta.

The Rituale Romanum has specific blessings for many, many devotional items. It is always good to use those instead of the generic one, if possible.
