We don’t have to turn our request in until March 12, after which we will have a lottery. We were told it could last seven hours is that true?

Wouldn’t surprise me. They are telling me to be there by 6:00 a.m. (and take the Metro). Have already told the office I’m taking the whole day off.

I’m assming that the Mass will not last that long; however, due to the intense security, I’m sure that Secret Service, the DC police and maybe even the National Guard will be examining everyone and everything with a fine-toothed comb. I still wish I were there. 😦
 
The Mass starts at 10:00 a.m. I would expect it to last until about noon.

And, yes, security would be the reason we need to get there so early. That and crowds. It is a brand new stadium, will have just opened a week or so before, with minimal parking and none of the glitches worked out of the Metro yet.

But it will all be worth it. 😃
