Although it’s been pre-empted this year by Easter week, Apr. 4 is the designated feast of St. Isidore of Seville, who in the 7th century, tried to write down all knowledge in a 20-volume set of encyclopedias.
He was declared a Doctor of the Church in the 1700s, and was named Patron Saint of the Internet by Pope John Paul II in 1997.
