I am wondering if anyone knows of any resource or has any insight on an item of Mary’s Mediation of All Graces. Benedict XV stated she has the “apportionment” of graces, or is the decision maker (see #12 ewtn.com/faith/teachings/marya4a.htm, or #11 here vatican.va/holy_father/benedict_xv/encyclicals/documents/hf_ben-xv_enc_29061921_fausto-appetente-die_en.html). The Latin word I believe that unites these two translations is arbitra.
The doctrine that Mary is the Mediatrix of All Graces is well established, but this word arbitra is less well known. Her ministry of active decision making over the distribution of graces is something I am looking into understanding. Any help?
