Archangel Samael?

How is he still an archangel when he is both hate and love altogether? Wasn’t he also one of the angels that didn’t bow down to the creation of heaven? And didn’t he mate with Lilith?

So why is it that he’s still an archangel to me? It’s quite confusing to me because he’s not like other (arch)angels to me…
 
There is no Lilith. Angels do not mate. An angel cannot be both love and hate.

I think you’re confusing myth with actual theology.

Edit: I looked up the name. It’s a legend. There is no angel Samael.

3 in scripture. Michael Gabriel and Raphael. One I think in apocrypha? Uriel.

I have read on other (arch)/angels from other religious books (mainly the Torah or the Qu’ran) if not I’m getting everything messed up…
 
I do believe that Mohammad claimed that it was Gabriel that came to him and gave him the Qu’ran.

I think. Not sure about that
