Archbishop Fulton Sheen’s remains return to Peoria

This happened last week, but I didn’t see a thread about it.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the beatification happen before the end of the year. All the pieces are in place now.

Maybe the announcement of beatification. I don’t think the actual ceremony would get held that quickly, especially if they have it in Peoria area. They have to get a huge venue, distribute tickets, etc.

It has been in the news and on a thread or two. This has been a long time coming with much wasted money by New York, not mention an unceremonious disinterment.
