Archbishop Fulton Sheen to be transfered to Peoria

If you read about his history with the New York Archdiocese, it’s pretty clear why they weren’t rushing to beatify him. Cardinal Spellman ruined Sheen’s career in a fit of anger at losing a monetary dispute after the Pope took Sheen’s side. I’m surprised they even wanted to bury him in St Patrick’s. Then again he died when Cardinal Cooke was Archbishop, and Cooke himself is up for sainthood, unlike any of the other past Archbishops of NY.

In the end God will triumph! I am so glad to see this! Despite attempts made by the evil one to block Venerable Sheen’s canonization.

What is going on with New York? I am absolutely disgusted by the actions of Cardinal Dolan! Shame on him! Not to mention who has been paying for all of the legal fees because Cardinal Dolan decided to keep obstructing Venerable Sheen’s canonization?
 
I too am very disappointed with Cardinal Dolan and his stubborn refusal to return the body of Archbishop Sheen to Peoria… coulped with his silence re Govenor Cuomo’s support of partlal birth abortion (infanticide ) , I have lost all respect for this man.

I am very happy about this good news, and on Pentecost weekend no less. I have been prayi g for Fulton Sheen’s canonization and asking dor his prayers for something very important.
