Glory and Praise be to God! The Holy Spirit is at work. The Church is winning the battle!

For a long time I’ve said that I wouldn’t receive the Eucharist in the hand and many people thought I was strange for this - even my own Priest gave me a funny look when I asked about this, although he said that I was allowed to recieve in this manner. To read that the Archbishop feels the same way is very encouraging!

The new Mass doesn’t emphasise the Real Presence in my opinion. The Eucharist is referred to as a “spiritual bread” and the prescious blood is called a “spiritual drink.” During a meeting with my Priest yesterday, we discussed the structure of both the EF and the OF. While both contain the most important elements, I came away with a renewed belief that the Tridentine Mass is far richer in terms of prayers and symbolism; the respect shown to the Eucharist is also far greater.

Thankfully, many within the Magisterium are trying to restore the traditions of the Mass that emphasise the real presence and reflect doctrine more fully.

The liberals and dissenters are losing the battle. The Church will prevail.

Pray for our Holy Father Benedict XVI so that he can continue his good work in the service of God and the Church.

Once again the traditionalists are being proved right. A couple of quotes from the article.

“He said that the Papal Motu Proprio for the liberation of the Old Mass opened the way to a “complete integration” of the followers of Archbishop Lefebvre”

Misused hand Communion

“As a negative example the Archbishop cited hand Communion. . It was introduced so as to be an abuse. Now despite harmful effects on the faith, it is maintained. The hand Communion, “in a certain way” has helped ensure that the belief in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist had waned”

At 56, I have never received in the hand. I would like to see the communion rails restored and to be able to kneel to receive Holy Communion once again.

If things continue the way they are going, I’m anxious to see what things are going to be like forty years from now.

I believe we have turned the corner. The eclipse of the Church, which was predicted by the approved apparition of our Lady of La Sallette, is coming to an end. John Paul II, who was called De labore Solis - “the eclipse of the sun” - by the 11th century Bishop Malachi, was born under an eclipse of the sun; burried under an eclipse of the sun; and reigned over the Church while it was in eclipse.

Since his death, the moon has been gradually passing, thereby allowing the sun (the Church) to again show its light. Just as with a solar eclipse, during the eclipse of the Church the light was only seen on the fringes (SSPX, FSSP, and other Traditional communities). The darkness hated the light, but - thanks be to God - the light persevered, and will overcome the darkness.

I have great hope that the light will only increase from this point forward. If things continue as they are, we can hope that the Church 40 years from now (or much sooner), will appear as it did 50 years ago.

That is quite interesting and encouraging. I have never heard of Our Lady of Sallette or Bishop Malachi. Do you have any additional information about this apparition and what was said?

I have one thing to say: Thank you, Archbishop Ranjith.

I have to pinch myself too in regards to what he said about communion in the hand. Deo Gratias.

Also, when the article uses the term “communion benches” is that the same as altar rails?

Thanks.

Good thing we have voices now in the Vatican…
May God bless Pope Benedict XVI, Archbishop Ranjith, and all priests who supports the Motu Propio and the return of Catholic traditions in our church.

Can you hear it in the distance? That dull sound what is it?? Whatever could it be? Wait, wait, I think I know:thumbsup:
It is the wailing, the gnashing of teeth, the tears hitting the ground threatening to flood us all, the groans and moans of sheer terror. The collective agony of millions of progressive thinkers as the reality starts to sink in.

Ranjith is speaking and the progressives are in a panic. Things may never be the same again!!!:bigyikes:

Oh the horror, the horror of it all.

Oh and one more thing::amen:

Prayer Works! God Bless The Faithful Church Which Has Always Been Here Practicing As Our Lord Wishes.

Interesting …how the ’ sun ’ connection also fits in so well with the events and prophecy of Fatima , where the Miracle of the sun takes place …and the prophecy of how the Holy Father will have much to suffer … " in the end , my Immaculate Heart will triumph…"; a Pope , who like that Mother , had also much to suffer, all his life and in turn was being prepared to be compassionate for and a powerful instrument against the dragon of communism with its untold misery for millions …and aptly is the Mercy Pope …

Mercy poured out into the world , at that other eclipse , where that Mother was also present - on The Calvary …

and a Pope , who had forseen the fruits and the springtime of the labors …

’ For those who love God and are called according to His will , all things work well…’

Glory be to our Father !

And talking of moons and eclipses, let us hope too that many of East and West would heed those words and call for perfect alignment …

that the moon ( of Islam ) would not eclipse the Sun …that the invitataion of The Woman clothed with the sun , from Fatima , for All the Bishops - of East and West , to have joined in that consecration , still stands …in being faithful to give the needed reverence for the perfect weapons for peace that she reminded us of - Rosary … Eucharistic Adoration …penance ( and true , here may be the East is faithful , with her fasting regimes )… that even the seemingly ’ new devotions’ such as Divine Mercy devotion is New Wine from that Perfect Bridegroom of The Church …and The Bride need not be afraid …

Let us hope that any Undue attachment , to move forward from traditions alone , will not eclipse the sight , to see and hear the call from The Mother and Popes , for The Church Universal , to embrace these devotions , meant for The Whole Church …and that such a move would not eclipse their own traditions but can even enhance same …whose own lands are the very ones threatened with the menacing moon …and most in need of these …

( and who can see that ’ traditions’ alone did not serve well against the dragon …)

That , the call by the Holy Father(s) to restore the traditions of The East will be seen in light of All their invitations …

That The East will serve its proper role again …and as a source of true unity ,for the benefit of the whole world …that we will coninue to hear more good news , like this one by O.P

May we believe !

More great words from Archbishop Ranjith. The eclipse of the Church is passing… slowly but surely!

This is very interesting. I have not heard much of ArchBishop Ranjith, but I like the direction he is taking towards truth.

I am pleased about his comments on Hand communion (introduced as an abuse), the removal of rails, sitting during the consecration diminishing the Eucharist, the blurring of the clergy and laity roles, …overshadowing of the Real Presence of Christ, and especially this comment," The introduction of dances, musical instruments and singing , with little liturgical sense belong to the liturgy and the church interior “in no way.”

Thanks for this link and Thanks to the ArchBishop Ranjith!
