ok look even very faithful Catholics will make Saturday LSU football a priority, but that is no issue they will get to Mass on Sunday. Actually sometimes if LSU has a 6pm 7pm they will go to the vigil and go straight to the game. I get what your saying and some may be this way but just because someone makes football a priority on Saturday doesn’t mean he isn’t a faithful catholic.Therein lies the problem. Sports being a priority over our relationship with God.
I don’t know how New Orleans does it but it could include early Sunday Mass or the vigil. Note many past New Orleans arch bishops have gone to saints games.
