No, it doesn’t. If the Sacrament has been properly performed, the Bread and the Wine are gone, replaced by Christ Jesus. Nothing can take from His sacredness.In reply to FuzzyBunny116’s post above, lay people handling the Holy Eucharist takes away from the sacredness.
