Link doesn’t work, but thought something like that would of been innevitable in Katrina’s aftermath. Alot of people just aren’t moving back to the big easy…

I wonder if New Orleans will be demoted to just a diocese now?

It takes a bit for the page to load even with high speed. It came up for me in about 10 seconds.

So, would they move the Metropolitan See if they demoted it?

I think that many of New Orleans Catholic population are probably still in the state itself. We’ve got a lot of their Catholics up here in Shreveport and I know the Baton Rouge and Lafayette areas have a lot.
