*planning *to the O.F. next Sunday or next Saturday for the vigil?

I hope to go on Saturday for the Vigil Mass, but, I still plan to go to the E.F. Mass on Sunday.

Clearly I mean the Traditionalist Catholics who typically go to the E.F.
 
I plan on going, simply because my husband prefers the OF. I will be attending the EF, per my own preference, on Sunday. I must say it will be interesting to see how people respond to the newer translation.

I think the older Catholics will like it. It is almost word for word as the English translation pre Vatican II. I think it is more spiritual and more Catholic. I for one am looking forward to it. Now if we can get Catholic songs/hymns sung at Mass that would be nice too.
 
From what I heard on YouTube it sounds like a Taize version of the EF or something. Like, its getting the NO ready for the EF.
 
No, I’m thinking we’ll drive down to Portland’s St. Birgitta’s for 8:00 am TLM.
 
I’ll be going. I only get out to the EF every three weeks or so. I go to daily mass in the OF. I was thinking in addition to Saturday morning I’d go Saturday night just to say goodbye to the old and hello to the new.

I am looking forward to seeing if the people have been paying attention to the practice and instruction that we have been receiving the past few weeks. A few Sundays ago we had a school/PSR mass. The priest reminded everyone three times during the homily that it was a youth mass and that we would be praying Apostles Creed. Two minutes later the congregation responded by praying the Nicene Creed. People in my parish really don’t listen.
 
I’m going this Sunday as I’m staying this weekend with my parents. Should be interesting. It still won’t change where I’m going the week after, but I’m looking forward to it.
