are apostles saints?

hi.

this is my first post. on the 4th of april i am to recieve my baptism and become catholic. but i need to pick a saints name to take and helpo guide me through life.

the name i would like to take is bartholomew the apostle (parton for neurological deseases) and i’m not quite sure if apostles are saints, or are they different things?

A saint is anyone who is in heaven. The Church has recognized all the apostles as saints with the exception of Judas.
