On the forty-sixth anniversary of Roe v. Wade, New York governor Andrew Cuomo enthusiastically signed a pro-abortion law.

Unfortunately, Cuomo is not alone. We live in an age in which many Catholics who are public figures betray key teachings and values of the Faith. Of course, our age is not unique. … in our age, mass communication means a lot more people notice them and are able to discuss what they do.

So, are such people still Catholics?

This article looks into this.

The Venerable Bishop states it well. The problem or issue has been with us for a very, very long time. To some extent, I think it has been exacerbated in the media more recently to cast confusion or doubt on truly Catholic teachings.

We’ve been praying Fr. Neil Heilmann’s Operation Reparation 54 day Novena, and for the 40 days of Lent in addition we have been praying specifically for, as he puts it in “LOVE YOUR ENEMIES LENT 2019”

ATTENTION, USGF SPECIAL FORCES PRAYER WARRIORS!!

PRAYING FOR THE CONVERSION OF POOR SINNERS!

This Lent, I am asking that we join together praying for the conversion of poor sinners. I believe we need to go after the most influential who are doing the most damage. First, what comes to mind are those who lead Catholics in the wrong direction. Especially, but not limited to, those who are in positions of power and profess to be Catholic, while advocating falsehoods and immorality, leading Catholics to believe this is somehow the “New Catholicism.”

“LOVE YOUR ENEMIES LENT” goes for 40 days, starting on Ash Wednesday and going until April 15 (Day 54). We will name a person each day, and keep a running list. I encourage you to keep a notebook, and record each name, and pray over that notebook each day.

Let’s ask God to convert these poor sinners!!
