I listen to Catholic Answers on the radio. A few days ago there was a repeat broadcast. I am not sure who the participants were; however, one answered a listener’s question regarding the choice of Godparents. The respondant said that both Godparents must be Catholic. My daughters were baptised approximately 30 years ago with one Catholic Godparent and one nonCatholic. The non Catholic is/was a Christian. Are both Godparents required to be Catholic? Were my children incorrectly baptised? I was not Catholic then but am now.
