I went to college, graduated, landed a great job, quit and went to graduate school. When I was in school I was never a ‘serious’ dater. I went out with or socialized with women, but never had my sights on a long-term relationship. After both graduations, I dated rather ‘seriously’. When I was in school, I was surrounded by women in school. Most women in school repress the urge to be attracted to us - so they can study. Are they materialistic? Nah.

I’m sick of seeing them as well. It seems like alot of Catholic men have serious issues and a borderline bias against woman.

Not really. I’m a pretty confident guy. Have you ever thought your wrong? That maybe Catholic women have to put up with alot of rubbish?

I feel sorry for Catholic females when I see borderline offensive posts like these. Calling women “materialistic” really isn’t cool.

Calling secular women materialistic doesn’t get you very far either.

Can we please turn this into a thread where males criticize females? Please? I know it’s unfair and we shouldn’t generalize but with all the calls for guys to man up and not be deadbeats, come on.

And yes Catholic women are just as materialistic as secular women if you’re talking about the statistically average Catholic woman (or man for that matter). A Catholic that actually attempts to live the faith is not materialistic (male or female) although it’s always a temptation.

Well now, this kind of thinking is not logical…Multiple people can post things that are in fact outright lies, but that doesn’t make them true. Just saying.
