Are Catholics "born again"?

Maybe a better response to an individual poster is to place them on ignore than to unsubscribe to a whole thread that is discussing a subject that you do not have a good handle on the scriptural and Traditional reasons for infant baptism or seem to truly understand the regererative nature of baptism, especially when you are Catholic?

I pray you will at least start a new thread for yourself to discuss infant baptism.

Again the ignore feature is available. I also am disturbed to hear that you ARE NOT a cradle to grave Catholic. Usually, the converts to Catholicism, are much more knowledgable about these kind of differences than the average cradle Catholic. It is too bad that this discussion was not already done when you came into the Church.

God Bless,
Maria
I don’t appreciate anyone telling someone else to ignore me. If they decide that on their own well that’s a different story. That would not bother me if he decided to ignore me on his own. I would never tell anyone to ignore you or anyone else for that matter. My real point is that we have PMed each other and we’ve come to an understanding and we’ve forgiven each other. As a matter of fact, I still have to reply back to him. I think we’re going to get along just fine on our own.

Peace. :gopray:

Respectfully, I give that advice to all who say they will quit a thread because they believe the treatment they were given is intolerable enough to stop reading. It is better for someone who clearly does not understand an issue to put anyone on ignore than stop reading due to one person’s comments that they have taken offense to, whether or not they have actual reason to take offense or not.

God Bless,
Maria

Maria, you could’ve easily told him to look past those words and read the rest of my post. But to tell someone to ignore someone else is a bit much don’t you think?

I respect you as a poster here and I feel you are beneficial for so many that are trying to grasp their faith in any way they can. So I would NEVER tell someone to ignore you. I don’t see how that could benefit anyone telling them to ignore a person that has something about the Truth to say when it comes to the Faith.

Peace. :gopray:

Please see my private message.

Now, back on topic,

We may have to wait until after Christmas or the New Year, but anyone gonna take a stab at explaining more indepth their belief in a regenerative baptism for adults only?

God Bless,
Maria
