Like by the Church?
If that is the case then its a fallacy, there is archalogical facts showing that early Christians worshiped in much the same way as modern Catholics. In fact many of scholors have swam tibers from researching early Christians, Scott Hahn is a famous one.Well what if someone said that today’s protestants are more like the first christians than catholics are?
Do today’s Protestants validly celebrate the Eucharist? Do they have unbroken succession to St. Peter, the Vicar of Christ? Do they love better than we do? (You might have me on that third one.)Well what if someone said that today’s protestants are more like the first christians than catholics are?
Both terms “Christian” and “Catholic Church” are well established by the beginning of the second century 100A.D. It’s not that Catholics were the first Christians so much as the First Christians were Catholic. In other words the First Christians held Catholic beliefs as is seen easily from the Church Fathers.Like by the Church?
