Are Catholics only allowed one Mass per day?

I love going to Mass and seeing Jesus. I planned on going to more than one Mass on Sunday morning (only recieving at one Mass), but when I was going into my second Mass one of the adults from my parish said it was wrong to go to more than one Mass and that it wasn’t a very Catholic attitude. Is it wrong to go to more than one Mass? I’m so confused because I thought it was a good thing to go to Mass, even if you just receive Jesus once a day.

The person with whom you spoke has apparently not read very widely in the lives of the saints, some of whom also enjoyed going to more than one Mass per day. A Catholic can attend as many Masses per day as he pleases. In fact, he can even receive Communion twice in one day (not once), so long as the second reception takes place within participation in a Mass. If, later in the day after his second reception, he is in danger of death, he may receive a *third *time, even outside participation in a Mass.
