Are celtic rosaries o.k.?

I was wondering if it is o.k. for a non-Irish Roman Catholic to use a celtic cross rosary.
 
Although the Rosary, its self, is important. The most important thing is the Prayers and the meditations on the Mysteries. Sure you can use any Catholic rosary you want. You don’t even have to be Catholic. Its the prayers that are most important.

I have often forgotten my rosary when driving to work and had to say the Rosary on my fingers. I still have all 10 of them.
 
sure. the prayer is important.

i love to pray while i walk and used a shoe string to tie 1 big knot and 10 other knots so i can keep track of my rosary prayers while i sweat and walk. i don’t want to sweat all over my beautiful rosary i use when in church or before the Blessed Sacrament.

Being a full-blooded Irishman meself, it never ceases to amaze me when people are hesitant to use a rosary bearing the celtic cross. I have never received or bought such a rosary, and the rosary I use is actually from Lourdes. I don’t wish to come off as disparaging the OP, and I’m glad they received the information they needed, but I see this everywhere and have always wondered why such importance is placed on the Celtic cross.

We Irish are so benevolent, that we even let the lesser nations be Irish, if for just one day. Even out patron saint was English. 😃
