Are certain mortal sins worse than other mortal sins?

I mean in quality not quantity. I know mortal ones are worse than a venial too. But are some that are mortal greater than other ones that are mortal?

For Example:
Murder > Masturbation?
Blasphemy > Gluttony?
Suicide > Homicide?
Leaving the Church to be Pagan > Leaving the Catholic Church to be Protestant?
Child Porn > Regular Porn?
Hating God because your family raised you that way > Hating God despite own family raising you to love Him?

Some sins are more grave than others like murder is worse than stealing but both can be a mortal sin and both can send you to Hell.

Yes, some mortal sins are worse than others. I don’t where people got the idea that all mortal sins are the same in moral gravity, but I’ve heard it a lot. Rest assured mortal sins and venial sins for that matter, all have different levels of gravity.

However, remember that any mortal sin is enough to cut you off from the grace of God and put you on the road to Hell. So take care care to avoid them all!

Yes, I believe some mortal sins are worse than others. However, it is a rather complicated problem.

First of all, it can often be very difficult to compare one sin to another and decide which is objectively worse. In two related sins, like normal pornography vs. child pornography, we may easily be able to discern which is worse. But what about adultery vs. theft? And remember also that all these categories are generally very broad, including a wide variety of different possibilities. Exactly what kind of act does the pornography show, for example, or exactly what was stolen and from whom? These sorts of things can affect the sin’s level of gravity, including its relative gravity compared to something else.

Then there is the purely subjective side of the sin. One could make a case for masturbation to be a graver sin than fornication or for suicide to be a graver sin than the murder of another person in an objective sense, but on a personal, subjective level, bringing in feelings, knowledge, consent, deliberate choice of evil, etc., it can be the opposite.

Agreed. I have read that Pride is a greater sin than Lust; but Lust gets more people into Hell.
