are demons and angels real and is it dangerous to play a quij board

Yes, they are both very very real. And, yes, it is very dangerous to play with a Ouji Board. I am a cradle Catholic, but I dabbled in a lot of New Age things and using a Ouji Board was one of them. Pretty scary stuff when you think about it.

Many people use those for entertainment, but that is how Satan sneeks into your home.

Please, stay away from that stuff (also Tarot cards, too).

Here’s a word from our sponsor;

Ephesians 6;12
For **our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.
13
Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground.
14
So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate,
15
and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace.
16
In all circumstances,
hold faith as a shield, to quench all (the) flaming arrows of the evil one.
17
And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. **18
With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit. To that end, be watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones

There are 9 Choirs of angels and all are revealed in sacred scripture.

Playing with poisonous serpents is a dangerous entertainment. You can compare it to being in an infested closed room with deadly viruses unprotected, eventually one will enter your being and cause death or injury to you.

It is rare that I see a thread with unanimous agreement. It is a nice feeling.

Happy Memorial Day to everyone.

Yes, both are real and Ouji Boards are dangerous. I dabbled in that a bit when I was young. You never know what door you are opening.

Peace,
Anna

Very important Scripture.

Peace,

Happy Memorial Day.

Bless the memory of all who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith.

I 100% agree with what everyone else has posted. They are most certainly very real. My parish’s priest’s personal conversion from atheism was begun because he was about to begin dabbling in the occult and God allowed him to see the face of Satan - pure, unadulterated malice - and from there he ran to God and had equally powerful experiences with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and eventually was saved from being forced to take drugs at the hands of angry gang members in the streets once by daring them to challenge his guardian angel (he didn’t want to say that to them, but God kept telling him to) who subsequently appeard and scared the living daylights out of them all and they ran away. (He recounted all this and more one day for my RCIA class.)

Im sorry to break all this agreement but i wont comment on angels and demons but Ouija’s, def not real. I play with them all the time and nothing happens. Sure me and my friends scare the **** outta each other but we all know one of the two of us controlling the piece is moving it. My friend is a christian and she doesnt believe it either.

Angels?

***Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels. *(Hebrews 13:2)

Yup, real.

Welcome to CAF.

You say that you scare the crud out of each other. How then can you say that nothing happens? If you know that you are totally controlling the pieces, how then are you scared? That fear cannot possibly be coming from your mind, which you are in perfect control of and which knows exactly what is going on and that nothing is happening. Where then, is that fear coming from? And why is that fear present?

If you know exactly what is going on, then why does the hair on the back of your neck stand up?

Just because you don’t believe in something doesn’t mean it isn’t real.

It is not the Ouija board itself that is the danger. It is in playing with it that you open your home, you mind, and your heart up for the devil and demons to sneak in. Thank about it, you’re playing a game in which you give something powers. It is easy to say, my friends and I know that it is us controlling it. But if you do something mean and evil with it while playing are you going to say, “The devil made me do it.”?

The Ouija board stuff is a popular question lately, isn’t it?

It doesn’t open you up to evil, it opens you up to stupidity and superstition. 😛

This game is fun. Not Ouija, the game game we’re playing where one side claims Ouija boards have metaphysical powers and doesn’t have to offer any evidence whatsoever.

I agree with "Nirvana21", “Ranp”, and “VeritasLuxMea”, if someone wants demons to enter or control his/her mind, then there are many ways to do it not just through the Quij board.

Demons/Devil have no control what so ever over real faithful people, I personally was afraid of them when I was Muslim, but when I knew JESUS, I’m not afraid of them at all.

Here’s what I’m not understanding.

On what basis are people claiming that the Ouija has supernatural powers? If there’s no objective and verifiable evidence of such a claim, then why believe it?

Is it enough to merely claim that something is supernatural? If I invent a deck of cards tonight and tell you that they can tell the future, would you consider the cards evil? Or would you, in fact, say that they are just a huge waste of time and superstitious and I’m doing wrong by committing a fraud?

Your parish priest should write a book of his reported experiences. I’d happily buy it 🙂
