Are ear piercings a sin?

I am considering getting a rook ear piercing, I want it because I think they look pretty cool, I’m hesitant though because I’ve heard people say that any kind of piercings are a sin. So, are ear piercings a sin and would it be a sin to get a rook piercing? Thank you so much!!!🙂
 
No, the Church does not consider an ear piercing a sin. Like all things we simply need to be careful of vanity and pride when making choices.
