This might seem a silly question but given that the Eastern Church, both Catholic and otherwise, has a different theology to the west I was wondering how far this spills over into moral teach and to what extent Eastern Catholics are obliged to listen to the decrees of Rome?
For example, are eastern Catholics expected not to use contraception as we are in the western tradition and is that a belief that is actively taught by eastern Catholic Priests and Bishops?
