Are Evangelical Christians Warmongers?

Good essay by Mr. Colson. Not one our “all evangelicals are bloodthirsty warmongers” friends would appreciate. Sadly for I expect it does not fit their very biased view of evangelicals.

I have a book by Colson, from the 80’s…yes I know old ain’t I. The title is Who Speaks for God, forward by J.I. Packer. 46 articles and essays…from an evangelical leader with not one even remotely considered beating the war drum. Oh the subtitle of the book is Confronting the World with Real Christianity.

While I or anyone maynot agree with everything Mr. Colson supports or believes, He does make you think about ways to make yourself a better Christian.

It also might be helpful to point out that the current Republican favorite, Rick Perry, attends Hagee’s church…

It also might be appropriate to point out that the current Commander in Chief and President attended Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s church for nearly 20 years when he lived in Chicago . What’s your point ?
