I am sure that if you want to discuss this topic, you will find no shortage of participants. Homosexuality is a perennial issue here at CAF.This is an area where the much talk is needed. Is being gay a choice? Is two people of the same sex, that love each other and lead a moral life wrong?
The Catholic Church is silent on whether being homosexual is a choice, or whether it is innate. However, the Church clearly teaches that homosexual activity is immoral. I won’t beat you with the relevant citation from the Catechism, since I assume you know it. But if not, I will supply it.
I can appreciate that view. Of course, it does go against the teachings of the Catholic Church. A fundamental tenet of the Church is that its Magisterium is infallible on matters of faith and morals.Jesus law is a law of love not hate.I really think this an area that only God himself can answer.
